This Spiral Pendant Necklace by Linkouture.com is one of those projects that is so easy to make yet, packs such a great big punch of wow!
Easily customizable by simply changing the color of pearl used (or why not use a gemstone or Swarovski instead), I think it would make a perfect accessory for prom or even for bridesmaid presents. And, if you add a color pearl or birthstone for a particular child - it would make a great Mother's Day present too (especially for a new mom or grandmom).
A few jump rings, eyepins, chain and a perfect pearl are all you need to create this lovely little pendant.
